New Shalimar Steel Unit 1:

This is the oldest unit of the company that frequently uses ship plate, billet from local furnaces, Pakistan Steel and people Steel for its production. It mostly manufactures sizes that are mostly round, square, cold twisted, deformed bars of less diameter, flat bars and angles of small dimensions.

New Shalimar Steel Unit 2:

Formerly known as Shafiq and Company, this unit is situated at Lakhodehar Road, Shadipura, Bund Road, Lahore, and comprises of the state-of-the-art re-rolling plants of the company. Spread over and area of hundreds of Kanals, it is a highly sophisticated re-rolling facility where skilled and qualified employees work following strict quality controlled procedures.

Here, mostly profiles from medium to heavy commercial and residential sections including T-irons, round bars, square bars, flat irons, angles, channels, girders, l-beams and H-beams are produced on regular basis.

New Shalimar Steel Unit 3:

Formerly named Nawaz-Shahbaz (Pvt.) Ltd. owned by Ittefaq Group, located at 23 km Lahore-Sheikhupura road, Lahore. The unit consists of two furnaces (Arc and Induction) and one continuous casting plant (CC Plant). The first plant is a Russian Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) is believed to be a technology that is meant for steel making rather than steel melting. The second plant is an induction steel furnace that is mainly for commercial grades and melting processes for the CC plant. The CC plant spans a radius of 6x11 meters with two strands and is made by a world-renowned German company, called DeMag. At this facility, low and medium carbon billets with alloy steels of various sizes are manufactured i.e. 80mm, 100mm, 110mm, 125mm, 130mm, 150mm, 160mm, 200mm, 220mm and 250mm.
